Leonard Donald Stanley "Chip" Hawkes (born 2 November 1945) is an English musician. He is best known for being a member of the Tremeloes and for being the father of Chesney Hawkes.

In 1979 he reformed The Tremeloes & toured with them until 1988. In the early 90's Chip formed his own group 'The Chip Hawkes Band'. They toured all over Europe in the 90's.
In late 1965, Chip Hawkes joined “Brian Poole & The Tremeloes.” This lineup lasted for about a year before Brian Poole pursued a solo career, leading to the band’s split. However, The Tremeloes endured, featuring Len “Chip” Hawkes, Dave Munden, Alan Blackely, and Rick Westwood.
