Legendary Grape is an album by Moby Grape, released by Dig Music in 2003. History. The original album was issued in 1989 as a five hundred copy, cassette -only release on Herman Records.
Due to continued legal battle between the band and Matthew Katz over ownership of the "Moby Grape" name, other names were used during this period for performance or recording purposes; including Mosley Grape, Legendary Grape, Maby Grope, the previously used Fine Wine, and The Melvilles.

En 1989 apareció “Legendary Grape” (1989). En 1993 se publicó el recopilatorio con doble CD “Vintage: The Very Best Of Moby Grape”. Alexander ‘Skip’ Spence falleció el 16 de abril de 1999 por problemas derivados de su salud mental. Tenía 52 años. A Bob Mosley, por su parte, se le diagnosticó esquizofrenia.
