22 de dic. de 2017 · This two-CD, 34-song set does a magnificent job of filling in the major gap in the Power catalog by collecting both sides of all six of his rare 1962-1967 Parlophone singles in one place, as well as adding no less than a dozen previously unreleased outtakes.
Most of his Parlophone material including unreleased recordings from the 1960s were issued on CD in 2002 as Leapers and Sleepers. In 2006 saw a further retrospective Vampers and Champers that included the re-release of his Translantic LP Innovations. Power died on 19 February 2014 at the age of 72. References

DUFFY POWER Duffy Power was a man out of time. His short career as a British teen idol eventually led him to be part of the British Blues Boom, but unlike Rod Stewart, Chris Farlowe, Long John Baldry and bands like The Stones, The Yardbirds and The Animals, he couldn’t find a hit record to propel him into the limelight.
I particularly love the songs recorded with the Graham Bond Quartet, whose members included Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker (wonder what happened to them?). Classic blues, classic jazz, super cd - looks like its been discontinued already, sadly.
