Ross recalled warming up in his dressing room when LeRoi Moore, DMB’s founding saxophone player, who died in 2008 following an ATV accident, popped his head in and said, “oh man, you like jazz?” “We just kind of struck up a friendship from there,” Ross said.

Six of my favorite DMB albums are now framed up outside the entrance of my dedicated home theater room. Big Whiskey (dbl gatefold 180gram) arrived today and filled the last frame (RIP Leroi Moore. 😢). Love me some DMB vinyl…it makes me feel young again looking over these albums when I open them up.
