28 de may. de 2022 · Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Generously butter two 8-inch cake pans that are at least 2-inches high, and dust with cocoa powder, tapping the pans slightly to remove any excess. Combine the dry ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Set aside.
Step 5: Apply the Finishing Coat of Frosting. Start the finishing coat the exact same way you did the crumb coat. Pipe a thick layer of frosting around the edges and use a scraper to smooth it out. Hold the scraper steady, as you spin the turntable. This time don’t apply quite as much pressure.
