It was a wonderful neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants, but located in an area where you can walk to many other places and explore. It was fairly quiet at night, and we felt very safe.

She made the Latin Quarter come alive for us, leading through the architecture of the various centuries and the stories the the buildings told.   7. Latin Quarter (also known later on as The LQ) was a nightclub in New York City. The club originally opened in 1942 and featured big-name acts. In recent years, it had been a focus of hip hop, reggaeton and salsa music. Its history is similar to that of its competitor, the Copacabana.
