Lars and the real girl je malý milý film. Nerieši nič svetoborné, ale dokáže zaujať, hoci sa človek musí najprv nastaviť na trochu pomalšie tempo, ale to vôbec nevadí. Ryan Gosling je vo svojej role presvedčivý, ale nielen on, všetci herci sú prirodzení, nikto z nich neprehráva, nikto sa nesnaží o nejaké veľké herectvo.
