Vernon also produced a second album for King, Larger than Life, for the same label. Vernon brought in other notable musicians for both albums, such as Bobby Tench of the Jeff Beck Group, to complement King. Death. Nearly constant touring took its toll on King—he was on the road almost 300 days out of the year.
27 de feb. de 2021 · He is credited on two albums by King, Burglar (1974) and Larger than life (1975). King died of a heart attack on 29 December 1976 aged 42 and the compilation album Freddie King 1934–1976 was released several months later, featuring tracks Tench had contributed to on Burglar.
