After three studio albums for Reprise Records, 1974's "Land's End" found Jimmy Webb signed to David Geffen's Asylum Records. The collaboration would seem to have been the perfect move with Asylum doing the same thing for Webb it had done for acts like Jackson Browne, The Eagles and Joni Mitchell.
