Patrice Louise Rushen (born September 30, 1954) is an American jazz pianist and R&B singer. [2] . She is also a composer, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and music director. Her 1982 single "Forget Me Nots" received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

Biografía [ editar ] Rushen nació en Los Ángeles, California el 30 de septiembre de 1954, la mayor de dos hijas de su padre y el ex de Ruth Harris.
Considerado uno de los mejores pianistas de jazz del mundo, Rushen ha tocado y producido para artistas tan estimados como Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Prince, Lionel Hampton, Nancy Wilson y Michael Jackson.
