For more background about what happened to Aaron, please read this post from 2021. It seems fitting to revisit this poem about Aaron, written by Brewster Kahle, shortly after Aaron’s death, in 2013.
6 de may. de 2024 · Swartz was an internet hacker and activist who allegedly committed suicide while in custody and under extreme pressure from the U.S. government, who intended to prosecute him for a crime where he meant no harm and sought to make no money. Some believe Swartz was murdered. He was 26 years old.
3 de may. de 2024 · Respect for Aaron Swartz and the world he tried to fix and protect. Let us all weep. I had a teacher that once said to us that suicide isn't a sign of weakness, but a sign of bravery. You need to be brave to do it and it only happens when it's impossible to continue and I agree even though I am against suicide. Everyone is their own way and he didn't deserved this injustice and pain he endured.
