Kyung Wha Chung (born 26 March 1948) is a South Korean violinist.. Biography. Kyung Wha Chung was born in Seoul, South Korea. After starting the piano at age 4, she started the violin at age 7. She performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto at age 9 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.She was viewed as a child progidy, due to her talent at such a young age.
