Klymaxx. Bernadette Cooper created and formed this eight-piece all-female funk band, who had huge pop hits with "I Miss You", "I'd Still Say Yes" and "Man Size Love". The group released three albums before their breakout hit album "Meeting In The Ladies Room", where they slimmed down to the six-piece band most remembered by fans.

Klymaxx was formed in 1979 by drummer Bernadette Cooper in Los Angeles. Cheryl Cooley (guitar), Lynn Malsby (piano), and Lorena Hardimon (lead vocals), now Lorena Stewart were all original members. Joyce Irby (bass & lead vocals) joined from the east coast and Robbin Grider rounded out the six original members who were still in the group when Klymaxx had success.
Klymaxx is the fourth studio album by Klymaxx, released in 1986 (see 1986 in music).. Klymaxx gained airplay on MTV, VH1 and BET with the release of their single "Man Size Love".The song reached #43 on the R&B chart, #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #18 on the Billboard Dance Chart..
