Criterion’s 1080p/24hz high-definition presentation is sourced from a new 4K restoration, which in turn was sourced from the 35mm original camera negative.
Warners' Klute DVD went OOP the exact same week in 2014 as a bunch of other titles that have almost all been reissued or announced by Criterion—the only other exceptions from the linked list are The Breaking Point and The Magnificent Ambersons.

14 de dic. de 2017 · I'm sure Show Boat is coming at some point - as it was a former Criterion Laserdisc title. Oddly, the laserdisc commentary has shown up on the TCM broadcast of Show Boat as a SAP audio option (strange since the commentary has never appeared on any other video release).
31 de jul. de 2017 · Ambersons, Klute and A Face in the Crowd. The rest of the Lewton box would be nice. I'd sure love releases of The Seventh Victim and Isle of the Dead especially, and I still need to see Ghost Ship or Curse of the Cat People.
3 de nov. de 2004 · I know you liked the film, but Pakula deserves better than this backhanded compliment. He's one of the most undervalued American directors of the 70s. If you haven't seen Klute and (especially) The Parallax View, don't delay. Those Zodiac comparisons apply nearly as much to those films as they do to All the President's Men.
