Klaatu (/ ˈ k l ɑː t uː /) was a Canadian rock group formed in 1973 by the duo of John Woloschuk and Dee Long. They named themselves after an ambassador, Klaatu, from an extraterrestrial confederation who visits Earth with his companion robot Gort in the film The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Klaatu es el personaje principal de las dos versiones de la película El día que la Tierra se detuvo y su remake de 2008. Klaatu (/ ˈ k l ɑː t uː /) is a fictional humanoid alien character best known from his appearances in the 1951 science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still and its 2008 remake. The character of Klaatu gained popularity partly due to the iconic phrase " Klaatu barada nikto !"
