It was originally released on the Mercury label in 1964 and features performances by Kirk with Tete Montoliu, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Don Moore and J.C. Moses and a guest appearance by Sonny Boy Williamson, credited as "Big Skol".
Sonny Boy Williamson II. Alex or Aleck Miller (originally Ford, possibly December 5, 1912 [3] [a] – May 24, 1965), [4] known later in his career as Sonny Boy Williamson, was an American blues harmonica player, singer and songwriter. [2] He was an early and influential blues harp stylist who recorded successfully in the 1950s and 1960s.
