King Edward’s School; King Edward VI High School for Girls; Both schools are academically selective and are among the highest achieving schools in the country. They share a 50-acre campus in Edgbaston, opposite the University of Birmingham, and draw their students from a wide range of schools across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
11+ Scholarships (Year 7) These are awarded simply on academic merit without any consideration of the financial situation of the candidate’s family. Please note, consideration for an academic scholarship is automatic during the entry process and no separate application is required. There is no separate scholarship exam.
