King’s College School is an independent day school for boys aged 7-18 and girls aged 16-18. Founded in 1829 by Royal Charter, it is a school of over 1400 pupils and is one of the most academically successful schools in the world.
For over 500 years, from the times of Henry VI and the Tudors through to the Napoleonic Wars, the Industrial Revolution, the Space Race and the era of Digital technologies, generations of children have been educated at King’s.
King's College School, also known as Wimbledon, KCS, King's and KCS Wimbledon, is an independent day school in Wimbledon, southwest London, England. The school was established in 1829 by King George IV, as the junior department of King's College London and had part of the school's premises in Strand , prior to relocating to Wimbledon in 1897.
