Kevin Godley (* 7. Oktober 1945 in Prestwich, Greater Manchester, England) ist ein britischer Musiker und Musikvideo-Regisseur. Auf der Kunsthochschule lernte er Lol Creme kennen, der ebenfalls Musiker war. Zusammen spielten sie in verschiedenen Bands, unter anderem bei 10cc, und wurden später bekannt unter dem Bandnamen Godley & Creme.
24 de jun. de 2023 · Kevin Godly and Lol Creme upped sticks and left to record an album of their own, primarily to promote the Gizmotron, Godley later claiming that “10cc was becoming safe and predictable”. Gouldman and Stewart continued as 10cc until 1983.
12 de jun. de 2020 · Godley received 286 instrumentals, choosing to conceal the names of submitters so as not to focus on high profile artists. Of these 11 were chosen for the final tracklisting. Following the collapse of Pledge, The state51 Conspiracy contacted Kevin and funded the project so that those who had paid would still be able to listen to the record they were helping to make.
