Kevin Ayers (Herne Bay, 16 agosto 1944 – Montolieu, 18 febbraio 2013) è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e bassista inglese. È stato tra i protagonisti della scena di Canterbury: i suoi lavori hanno avuto una grande influenza sulla scena psichedelica e progressive internazionale. Conosciuto per i suoi lavori solisti, fu membro fondatore dei Soft Machine verso la fine degli anni sessanta.
