Kenny Dale Monday (born November 25, 1961) is an Olympic gold medalist and three-time All-American wrestler from Oklahoma State University. He began wrestling at age six at a YMCA after-school program and grew up idolizing Olympic wrestler Wayne Wells. Monday is a three-time Olympian.
Kenny Monday is a former Olympic gold medalist, NCAA champion and six-time world champion in wrestling. He won four state high school championships, five Junior Olympics titles and an NCAA title at Oklahoma State University. He also won the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Classic and the World Cup in 1989 and the Outstanding Wrestler award in 1988.
