Drummer Kevin Wilkinson (no relation to bassist Keith), formerly of The Waterboys and China Crisis, was also added around this time, replacing Newmark. He lasted through the 1995 album Ridiculous , which was recorded by the quartet of Difford, Tilbrook, Wilkinson and Wilkinson.
28 de sept. de 2008 · Just revisiting this old thread and nowadays I can appreciate Keith Wilkinson's time with Squeeze a bit more. He used a fretless Fender Jazz and after having just watched the old Squeeze appearance from 1985 on The Tube recently, he has amazing feel and groove on Last Time Forever.
1 de ene. de 2020 · But the band couldn’t lay dormant for long, as Squeeze reformed the next year for ‘Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti’, along with Holland, Lavis and Keith Wilkinson, Squeeze’s longest serving bass player.
Tilbrook and Difford subsequently chose to reform the group officially, with Keith Wilkinson taking Bentley's place on bass. After the release of Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti , Holland's brother Christopher joined as a second keyboardist on tour, but was replaced shortly thereafter by Andy Metcalfe . [13]

8 de may. de 2012 · When Keith Wilkinson joined the band in 1985 and brought his fretless bass along, the band’s sound changed drastically. Did you write or play any differently in that era [ 1985 to 1997 ]? Yeah, it did change, but no, I didn’t do anything different.
