Keith Christopher Rowley MP, (born 24 October 1949) is a Trinidadian politician serving as the seventh prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago, first elected into office on 9 September 2015 and again following the 2020 general election.

Dr Keith Christopher Rowley was born on October 24th 1949 in Mason Hall, Tobago, and was raised by his grandparents, who were prominent Tobago farmers. Dr Rowley completed his secondary schooling at Bishop’s High School, (BHS) Tobago and his sterling academic performance saw him capture the prestigious Sylvan Bowles Scholarship at BHS.

Born in Mason Hall, Tobago and having attended Bishop’s High School, Tobago. Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley was the recipient of the prestigious Sylvan Bowles scholarship which provided entry into the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica from which he graduated with First Class Honours in Geography and First Class Honours in Geology.
