Keinton Mandeville, commonly referred to as Keinton, is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England, situated on top of Combe Hill, 6 miles (9.7 km) west of Castle Cary in the former South Somerset district.

The Mid 19th Century. The village 'took off' in the mid-C19th when Keinton blue lias stone became highly sought after. The houses seem to have migrated from around the church towards the cross roads, to catch the passing trade.
The village of Keinton lies in the centre of the parish around the T junction formed by High, Castle, and Queen Streets, the first two being part of the Somerton–Castle Cary road, which occupies the highest ground (55 m. (180 ft)) but dips to 50 m. (164 ft) in the centre of the village.
