The McGarrigle sisters' music almost unbearably poignant. The backing band on this debut album include Lowell George, Bobby Keys, Steve Gadd and Tony Levin as well as family and friends such as Loudon Wainwright III. The album was voted Rock Album Of The Year by Melody Maker. About the Artist. They were unique in the folk/country music world.
