14 de jul. de 2012 · The live sound was of course just fine as the trio of Raoul Björkenheim, Anders Nilsson and Gerald Cleaver got together as a unit for the first time; however, this release has mixed the in-store concert performance to sonic perfection. From the initial crunch of the guitars and snap of the percussion, the listener is in for a treat.

In 2010 Scandinavian guitarists Raoul Bjorkenheim and Anders Nilsson performed this incredible concert at DMG in NYC, accompanied by NY drummer Gerald Cleaver, a breathtaking album of intricate improvised interplay.
Both are very experienced improvisers as well as composers, with a long list of recordings and works, including one live album together "Kalabalik", a trio with drummer Gerald Cleaver. As a duo Björkenheim and Nilsson have performed many times in NYC over the years.
