  7. I think that's sort of missing the point. Bruce and Baker were both Jazz players, while Clapton basically only played blues-rock before, during and after Cream. I think Bruce was just trying to say that Clapton didn't really realise that he was playing with jazz musicians who were, or at least trying to, play, well, jazz.
