Just One Night is a 1980 double album by Eric Clapton, recorded live at the Budokan Theatre, Tokyo, Japan, December 1979 when Clapton was touring to support Backless, his latest record at that time. The sleeve contains a Japanese painting by Ken Konno. The album reached No. 2 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the UK, and was certified gold by RIAA.
Chart Positions: Just One Night #3 UK #2 US, Another Ticket 18 and 7, Money & Cigarettes 13 and 16.

"Just One Night" is perhaps the best solo Eric Clapton album. He plays an incredible selection of pure blues, his hits (albeit extended and made more interesting), and with Albert Lee some great country infused stuff.

No resta ninguno de los componentes que habían participado en su último redondo y de los nuevos resaltan los históricos sidemen Albert Lee y Chris Stainton, desempeñando, respectivamente, un papel relevante a las seis cuerdas y a los teclados.
El álbum está repleto de geniales interpretaciones: If I don't be there by morning (de Backless, con Lee y Clapton intercambiando voces), Wonderful tonight, Double trouble (impresionante), Blues power, la versión ideal de Cocaine y un cierre cuasiperfecto con Further on up the road.
