Joy Division byla anglická hudební skupina založená v anglickém městě Manchester v roce 1976. Během své existence vydala dvě studiová alba Unknown Pleasures a Closer. V roce 1980 spáchal, epilepsií a depresemi trpící zpěvák Ian Curtis, sebevraždu. Bylo mu 23 let.
