23 de sept. de 2013 · Gonzo MultiMedia UK has announced that it will release a new feature length documentary on Greek music legend Vangelis on September 23, 2013. Vangelis And The Journey To Ithaka includes interviews with Vangelis and many of his friends and colleagues, including Sean Connery, Hugh Hudson, Jessye Norman, Oliver Stone, Akiko Ebi, Julian Rachlin and others.
It's a Greek-only Box Set titled "Ithaca". The box contains a 1 track CD performed by Vangelis. The poem ("Ithaca" by the Greek poet C.P. Cavafy (1863-1933) is recited by Sean Connery. In addition, there is a full booklet devoted to the painting of Sean Connery's wife, Micheline Connery, represented in the book "A Journey In Colour".
We will never know a lot about this mysterious man, but Journey to Ithaka attempts to shed some light on his work. Therefore, I would strongly recommend this to Vangelis fans and to people who are genuinely passionate about music because Vangelis truly is inspirational. 8.5 out of 10.
