Joseph Heinrich Beuys (pron. Joseph Beuys, född 12 maj 1921 i Krefeld, död 23 januari 1986 i Düsseldorf, var Tysklands mest inflytelserike efterkrigskonstnär inom konceptkonst, happening och fluxus. Han var aktionskonstnär, skulptör, tecknare, konstteoretiker och professor vid Konstakademin i Düsseldorf.
Joseph Beuys est sans doute l’un des artistes les plus influents et parmi les plus controversés du 20 e siècle. Son importance est majeure dans l'art contemporain pour avoir apporté une dimension nouvelle à la notion élargie de l’art.
