Jonathan Michael Chunn CNZM (born 8 June 1952 in London) is a former member of the New Zealand bands Split Enz [1] and Citizen Band. He performed alongside his brother Geoff Chunn in both bands. His musical performing career was cut short due to agoraphobia. [1]

In his book, Mike Chunn recalls that “we walked off stage completely liberated.” This scribe was suitably impressed, as was Hot Licks editor Roger Jarrett. In a magazine editorial, he wrote, “The Split Enz concert may well go down in history as one of local rock music’s major events.”
It featured musicians, Timothy Finn, Philip Judd, Jonathan Michael Chunn, Noel Crombie, Emlyn Crowther, Eddie Rayner, Wally Wilkinson, David Russell, and Robert Gillies. All the songs on the band’s debut album were written by Tim Finn and Phil Judd.
