Jonathan Benjamin Hurwitz (born November 15, 1977) is an American screenwriter, director, and producer best known for his work on Cobra Kai (with Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald), the Harold & Kumar films, and American Reunion (with Schlossberg).

Jon Hurwitz was born on 15 November 1977 in Byram, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Cobra Kai (2018), Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and Obliterated (2023). He has been married to Randy Hurwitz since 30 June 2007. They have two children.
