Jon Carin has some thoughts about the situation. He himself said that the songs on the PF albums he actually was part of are "95% David". We know he brought songs like A Great Day for Freedom, Sorrow or High Hopes into the band in a pretty finished state. Jon is just losing credibility.
I think Jon has been hanging around Roger way too long and Rogers unconditional hatred of David Gilmour has rubbed off. Decades after the fact, Carin is making claims he knows that will be pretty hard to prove otherwise. Jon lost his junket with Gilmour in November 2015, he’s been ugly over it since and this is just another of Jon’s rants.
