Jon Auer. Jonathan Paul "Jon" Auer (born September 29, 1969) is an American musician who co-founded the power pop band The Posies, along with Ken Stringfellow. Auer and Stringfellow also participated in the rejuvenated Big Star [1] and in 2003 released Private Sides, a six-song split EP ( Arena Rock Recording Co. / Rykodisc ).

26 de oct. de 2021 · Jon Auer, the musical partner of Ken Stringfellow, the co-founder of the Seattle band The Posies, quit the group after learning of the sexual misconduct charges against him. Stringfellow denied the accusations and his ex-wife and ex-girlfriends supported him. The Posies split up after 35 years of alternative rock success.
