Hace 4 días · By Steve Newton. Yesterday the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted 16 artists for its class of 2024, but none of them were named Johnny Winter or Rory Gallagher. Or even J.J. Cale, for that matter. The braindead twats at the Rock Hall seem to believe that acts like Cher, Kool & the Gang, and Dionne Warwick are the epitome of rock ‘n’ roll, more so than those three guitar-slinging legends.
He had some hits with Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo and Still Alive and Well, but the two that blew me across the room when they came out in ‘76 or so were Highway 61 and It’s All Over Now off of the Johnny Winter Captured Live album. If one of my daughter’s young suitors had a clue about Johnny they would get some big bonus points - LOL.
