John Rees is a visiting research fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London, who specialises in the history of the English Revolution and the republicans and regicides of the Long Parliament. He is the author of The Leveller Revolution, a book on the radical Independents and the Leveller movement, and has also written articles and reviews on the Levellers and their role in the English Revolution.
