John Ginty (born 1972) is an American organist, keyboard player, and session musician. He was a founding member of Robert Randolph's "Family Band ", [1] [2] and is often seen guesting with such jamband luminaries as the Allman Brothers, Santana, Govt. Mule, Bob Weir and Ratdog, Widespread Panic.
Ginty has spent years as a successful sideman, playing keys with legendary artists such as Citizen Cope, Santana, Wu-Tang Clan, Matthew Sweet, and many more. John was also a founding member of Robert Randolph & the Family Band, where he received two Grammy nominations.

John Ginty is a versatile musician who started as a drummer and vibraphone player in school bands. He became a keyboardist for The Allman Betts Band in 1991, after learning the Hammond B-3 organ from his grandmother. He also played with other artists such as Santana, Jewel, and Robert Randolph. He formed his own John Ginty Band and released four albums.
