I once drove John Douglas around on a media tour. Amazing to talk to. I asked him about one case where a serial killer (maybe BTK?) who would tell people he was an escaped con and if they let themselves get tied up and give him their car keys he wouldn’t shoot them. I asked what the right move was in the situation.
