9 de feb. de 2007 · After Du Cann joined Atomic Rooster, he left after recording one album with his counterparts Vincent Crane and Paul Hammond. Sadly, Crane and Hammond both committed suicide during the 1980's. Du Cann is the only remnant of Atomic Rooster now left, but his vocals and musical talent exceed any of today's standards. Bravo John.

Although John Du Cann had several singles in the late '70s with a strange power pop/new wave/hard rock melange, his most successful group by far was Atomic Rooster, for which he played guitar in the early '70s.

His early bands included the Wiltshire-based The Sonics (not to be confused with the 1960s US band of the same name) and London-based The Attack , which released "Hi Ho Silver Lining" a few days prior to Jeff Beck .
