John Conte was an actor who starred in The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) and Musical Comedy Time (1950). He was also the founder and owner of KMIR-TV in Palm Desert, California, and the founder of the McCallum Theatre and several educational centers. He died in 2006 at age 90.
