12 de oct. de 2022 · You *have* to be trolling. I would agree that John Carpenter (who remains one of my favorite directors of ALL time in ALL genres) hasn’t made a good movie since his return with Vampires. But to say They Live was his last good movie is just insanity.

12 de oct. de 2020 · John Carpenter's films have a really eerie and spooky atmosphere, helped by excellent soundtracks which he often helped compose. They also capture this sense of isolation and hopelessness which I find a lot more creepy than the stuff Craven directed.

26 de jul. de 2020 · John Carpenter. Not only did he help bring the slasher-genre to life with Halloween, he created some of the best horror ever in The Thing. Plus a big shoutout to Prince of Darkness and In The Mouth of Madness. Then he made Big Trouble aswell. And Christine. Aaaand, Starman. I am biased though.
12 de ago. de 2024 · While details are limited, both games are apparently being developed in conjunction with the producers of the Halloween franchise. What's more, one of the games is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, and will include input from original director John Carpenter.

18 de jun. de 2024 · Sweet, just signed up. You also get a chance to play the beta of John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, didn't realize it was the same publisher. Yes! The 1-2 punch of liking the first game and those developers working on this is why I've been following this for years now.
