About John's Children. With limited musical ability but excitable stage antics aplenty, John's Children were '60s mods with one foot in some punk future. The original line-up--vocalist Andy Ellison, bassist John Hewlett, guitarist Geoff McClelland, and drummer Chris Townson--were named and picked up by Yardbirds manager Simon Napier-Bell.
