Hill, Joel Scott (19 August 1938-Present) Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Naples, Texas, who was reared in San Diego, California, and was making records by the time he was in his early twenties.
Joel Scott Hill. American rock & roll / blues rock guitarist, harmonica player and singer / songwriter. Born in 1939 in Mount Pleasant (Texas) but moved to San Diego (California) when he was 8, where he formed his first band at Linda Vista High School in 1957. Made early recordings in 1958 with The Rebels (20) for Doré.
