28 de oct. de 2023 · The 44-year-old Thornton, who was the No. 1 overall pick by Boston in 1997 and played 1,714 regular season games, announced his retirement from the NHL on Saturday. He was a four-time All-Star, an Olympic gold medallist and the Hart Trophy winner in 2005-06. He played 15 seasons with San Jose and one season with Toronto and Florida.
