11 de nov. de 2019 · Former EastEnders star Joe Absolom has revealed how he got married twice in a month – in real-life to his long-term partner Liz and then filming his Doc Martin character Al Large’s wedding. Pub landlord Al and doctor’s receptionist Morwenna (played by Jessica Ransom) will be seen tying the knot in Wednesday’s final episode of Doc Martin.

Like McNiece, his character is one of the very few mainstays of the series over the years, and he basically grew up on it, leaving the show in his forties when it ended in 2022.
