I always felt like Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall were way too submissive towards the neckbeards and hateful fans (as in, they didn't publicly call out the toxicity or defend themselves from the scorn) Ncuti Gatwa and RTD however are taking a different approach to that which is nice to see. It's about time someone put up a fight against TFM.
I don’t hate her. In fact I usually love Jodie Whittaker as an actress but in Doctor Who I was unimpressed by her performance. She didn’t bring much to the role, did not find the character, lacked gravitas and most of the time didn’t seem to be convinced by whatever she was doing
