21 de ene. de 2018 · Jim Rodford, bass player with The Zombies and a former member of The Kinks and Argent, has died after a fall at his home. He was 76. Rodford had just returned home to The UK after a short our of Florida with The Zombies. His final performance was on January 14 at the 30a Songwriters Festival in Miramar Beach, Florida.

Rodford, 76, was the older cousin of Zombies keyboardist and Argent leader Rod Argent. In the late 1950s and early 1960s Rodford was a member of the St. Albans group the Bluetones.

Rodford in 1979. James Walter "Jim" Rodford (7 July 1941 – 20 January 2018) was an English musician and singer. Rodford was born in Hertfordshire, England. Rodford played bass guitar for several British rock groups. He was a founding member of Argent, which was led by his cousin Rod Argent.
