Jim Valley is a survivor, having tasted fame as a member of the two hottest bands in the history of Northwest Rock & Roll: Paul Revere & the Raiders and Don & the Goodtimes. The Pacific Northwest bred such luminary groups as the Sonics, Wailers, Ian Whitcomb and the Kingsmen.

Blessed March 13, 1943, in Tacoma, WA, Valley grew up in the Seattle region.
