Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck es el Rey Dragón de Bután, pequeño reino del Himalaya afín a la India. Es el primogénito del anterior monarca butanés Jigme Singye Wangchuck y de la tercera esposa de éste, Ashi Tshering Yangdon. Su sucesión se produjo por la abdicación de aquel el 14 de diciembre de 2006.
